Peony plants grow in my Mama’s garden, I’ve always admired them as a gorgeously, bold, striking flower so I decided to paint them! The composition allows the viewer to consider both the flower and the negative space which is filled with a rich, burnt orange. This peony floral print is finished with beautiful serif typography detailing the original piece.
